She/her
My authentically unmasked self is kind, hardworking, purposeful, mostly introverted and blunt. I've never told my diagnosis within a job, but I hope that the day I do so, it opens doors for both of us. I am a highly verbal learner with a talent for technical writing and instructional documentation. I also am good at learning technological concepts and systems with ease, and am good at finding patterns, helping with troubleshooting, and conceptualizing ways to improve user experiences. I am a combination of an auditory and kinesthetic learner. I learn best when things are broken down into words and when I get to experiment. I love it when people speak very directly, and have a willingness to state anything, even if it seems like "common sense." One on one learning has worked best academically for the auditory piece, as I get to clarify things and go at a comfortable pace. With task delegation, I work best when instructions are written and very clear.
Ideal Workplace Values
I hope to work for a mid sized or larger employer. I value flexibility, emphasis on wellness, openness and honesty between colleagues and higher ups, and mobility. I like about my current job that I work for a small team and a relatively new product, but for a big organization, which provides me stability. Though I enjoy "routine," I feel stimulated and purposeful in a work environment where I get to branch out and try different things and take on varying responsibilities over time.
