Educational Interpreter - Billings Farm & Museum

I was an educational interpreter at Billings Farm & museum, providing customer service to guests as well as information on the farm's history and current practices. In addition, I helped with the farm's day-to-day functioning by working with farms staff to complete tasks such as picking cow pens, feeding cattle, and helping care for the calves.

Tutor - Okemo Mountain School

Helped student-athletes keep up with their school assignments during the ski season lasting from late November into early April. Arranged lesson plans to coordinate with the curriculum provided by off-season instructors. Graded tests and regularly updated both parents as well as instructors on the progress of each student's curriculum.

Medical Scribe - ScribeAmerica

I was a medical scribe tasked with recording medical information on behalf of the physician, including the patient's medical history, current condition, as well as the results of the physical exam and differential diagnosis.

Teaching Assistant - University of New Haven

Provided assistance to both students and professors during labs and field trips. This included collecting field data, providing demonstrations to students, and assisting the professor when conducting studies for the university. Set up equipment for labs, assisting with the cleanup process afterward. Graded exams for undergraduate students. Processed drone and kite images using Agisoft software.

Agricultural Intern - Jones Family Farm

Worked at the farm during both the strawberry and blueberry picking seasons as well as during the transition period between berry picking and pumpkin seasons. Greeted guests at the front, and provided information on the farm. Helped guests with their berry picking and worked with the cashier to process transactions. Picked weeds and berries tended to the fields, when necessary.

Conservation Discovery Corps Member - Beardsley Zoo

Although a docent volunteer position, I was responsible for assignments and tasks that helped the Zoo accomplish its conservation goals and function as a place of learning for the community. I educated visitors on the animals, the care they receive at an AZA-accredited zoo, and the importance of conservation. Helped with zoo events and participated in field research as well as some of the behind-the-scenes work necessary to care for the animals and keep the zoo functioning properly.
