Ideal Workplace Values

The ideal workplace would be one that is supportive of its employees and cares about their health and wellbeing, not just on paper, but shows it frequently through the policies and management of their teams. An environment that is challenging, but gives employees agency over their work and gives recognition when it is deserved. A place that allows them to ideate and problem-solve without fear of punishment for challenging the status quo and has a high value for inclusion and diversity at all levels. The ideal workplace invests in its employees' career development and eager to help guide employees with mentorship and resources to further their careers. And finally, a workplace that isn't about "hustle culture" and acknowledges that there is more to their employees' lives than just work.

Skills & Strengths

Neuroexceptional Talents

I have a strong eye for detail, able to identify patterns and trends that others miss. I believe that my ADHD makes me innately curious, especially when it comes to problem-solving. I'm also great at empathizing with others and being able to see different perspectives even when I may not agree with them. If I can find a job that allows me to help others or make a difference in the world, lets me find solutions to problems (big and small), has a variety in day-to-day tasks, and where I'm getting to work on projects from concept to completion, I will excel in that role and have high job satisfaction at the same time. And while I sometimes get nervous about making mistakes and embarrassing myself in front of colleagues (imposter syndrome), I'm a extroverted people-person and love being part of a team. Lastly, because of my ADHD I learned the importance of organization at an early age and now, with many years of practice under my belt I would say I'm a master at it. Its something I even enjoy doing, and you can find plenty of examples of this scattered throughout my resume.
