Ideal Workplace Values

An ideal workplace will value the individual and empower the individual because a supported and empowered individual contributes their very best. Accommodations would be considered a necessity not an inconvenience. This includes remote working arrangements, flexible scheduling and deadlines, and having supports in place for compromised employees/staff (i.e. an employee in a meltdown state). LGBTQIA+-affirming, Neurodivergent-friendly, environmentally-conscious.

Skills and Strengths

My Neuro-exceptional talent

Writing is in my blood. My father wrote fiction and my mother was a poet. I was hyperlexic and hypergraphic, reading and writing from a young age. Writing, for me, is about crafting a landscape of emotions, sensations, perceptions, motivations, beliefs, values, and ideas. I hunger to communicate other potential ways of perceiving, thinking, feeling, and being. Writing provides me with the means to attempt such communication. Writing also allows me to be engaged in advocacy and activism, fighting for human rights on the battleground of ideas and beliefs.
